Percy Jackson

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan is one of the best series I have ever read. This series brings Greek mythology into modern times. These books are great for fourth graders to high schoolers. I remember when I was in fourth grade waking up at 4:00 a.m., splashing water on my face to make sure that I wouldn't fall asleep, because, well, at 4:00 a.m. you should go to bed but, well, as you might realize, if you are reading a phenomenal book, you simply cannot put it down. I am now in seventh grade, and there is a new follow up series by Rick Riordan called The Heroes of Olympus and it's like deja vu, you cannot put it down. These books are a mix of a comedy and action. The characters, you care about, and the action is so great that you feel like you are at a 3D movie.
